Nianzhuang Battle Memorial

Nianzhuang Battle Memorial is a national AAA tourist attraction, located in nianzhuang Town, Pizhou City, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Nianzhuang is the main battlefield of Huaihai Campaign.

Nanjing government encountered Waterloo, and the cause of Chinese people's Liberation came to a turning point. Stalin was regarded as one of the ten classic battles in the history of contemporary world war.

In the North Center of nianzhuang memorial hall stands an 18.5-meter-high monument, which is surrounded by four reliefs of "supporting the front", "fighting", "charging" and "victory". On the front of the monument, there are four big characters inscribed by Liu Shaoqi, which are in gold. The main scenic spots are exhibition room, monument, forest of Steles, square, South Gate battlefield, Huang Baitao command post, Huang Baitao killing place, etc.

The victory of annihilating Huang Baitao's one regiment, five military headquarters and ten whole divisions in the battle of nianzhuang brought an end to the first stage of the Huaihai Campaign, laid the foundation for the complete victory of the whole campaign, and wrote a glorious page in the history of China's revolutionary war. Xuzhou City is adjacent to Shandong, Henan and Anhui provinces. It is located in the border area of North and south of China. It belongs to the warm temperate monsoon climate zone, with warm climate, moderate rainfall, four distinct seasons and an average annual temperature of 14 ℃.
