Natural Buddha
The natural Giant Buddha is located on the north mountain to the north of Xining city. The north mountain, also known as Tulou mountain, is composed of red and white rock layers. It is named because it is shaped like a rising Tulou.
The natural Giant Buddha is one of the peaks of Tulou mountain. After long-term weathering, the whole mountain looks like a giant Buddha from a distance. It has a natural look and can reach the sky without any trace of artificial chiseling. Therefore, it is called the natural Giant Buddha and one of the scenic spots in Xining.
