The provincial scenic spot, 9 kilometers away from Jinhua City, is a part of Hengdian cultural tourism area, covering a total area of 10.7 square kilometers and crossing the low mountains and hills of Wuning and Hengdian towns.

Geography

Luoping mountain and Pingyan mountain are the remaining veins of Dapan mountain, with the highest peak at 521.4 meters above sea level. The forest vegetation is mainly Pinus massoniana forest, with a small amount of bamboo forest. There are broad-leaved trees such as Liquidambar formosana and Cinnamomum camphora scattered in the forest; at the foot of the mountain and beside the ditch, there are fruit trees such as plum and peach. Wild animals include squirrels, rabbits, weasels, wild boars and tits. The scenic area has a subtropical monsoon climate with four distinct seasons, abundant rainfall and pleasant climate. The annual average temperature is 17.2 ℃. There are 98 scenic spots in the whole scenic spot, which are composed of Sandu Shengjing, Pingyan Cave Scenic Spot, Lanting and guanding Temple scenic spot (piece), with an annual tourist volume of more than 100000.

history

The original name of the scenic spot "Longtan pit" began in the eighth year of Xiantong in Tang Dynasty (AD 8). At that time, the villagers raised money to set up the statue of Shennong for the sake of grain harvest and four seasons' peace, and the villagers from all over the world came to visit. It is said that in ancient times, when there was a great drought, the Dragon pitied the people for their hardship. Without the permission of the Jade Emperor, it rained on the earth without permission. It was discovered by the Jade Emperor and then suppressed here, so "Longtan pit" got its name. So far, the Dragon chopping platform, dragon bed and Longtan still exist. The spectacular Longwang Temple towering over the population of the scenic area has experienced thousands of years. It is said that "Qingyun cave" and "Baiyun cave" are the training places of green snake and white snake in the legend of white snake. The villagers of Xu's family at the foot of the mountain are the heirs of Xu Xian. "Longtankeng" is famous for its many beautiful legends. It has been prosperous for thousands of years, and tourists are like a tide. It is recorded in county annals.

Morning bell and evening drum, one after another, candlelight, cigarette curl. In addition, Tianmen, Tenglong Pavilion and Shengtian pavilion are suitable for the time and place. They are perched among the dangerous rocks, such as Qionglou Pavilion, which makes tourists feel like they are in a fairyland. There is an artificial lake, covering an area of more than 6000 square meters, which is a pearl in fairyland. Qiao Xingjian, a famous Prime Minister of the Southern Song Dynasty, and Jia tingzuo, a famous anti Jin general, are buried in the "dongtangwu" in the scenic area. It is also a good place for people to visit ancient times, cherish the memory of the sages, and carry out patriotic education for primary and secondary school students.

The main scenic spots are Longyuan cave, Qionglou cave, Qianfo pagoda, Jinsi stream, Yintian fane, stage rock, giant turtle rock micro cave, myth corridor, Tingyu Pavilion, etc.
