Chenghai people's Park

Chenghai people's Park is in the southeast of Chengcheng, Chenghai City. It covers an area of 66900 square meters. It used to be a cemetery in Huangpu, commonly known as daganwai. The park was built in 1955.

Introduction to scenic spots

It was built in early 1955 and expanded in 1963, with flower beds, rockeries, pavilions, flowers and trees. In 1979, a large conference platform with reinforced concrete structure was expanded. In 1985, the children's playground was built, which is equipped with slide, obstacle walk, rocker, climbing frame, boat type wave wood, swing, turntable, rotary wheel, trampoline, electric amusement machine, lion ball and other amusement facilities. There is a track and field field field and a 400 meter track. In 1985, it was the provincial track and field age division competition area. There is also a swimming pool with a 21 × 25 meter training pool and a 21 × 50 meter competition pool. In 1985, the sixth Shantou Games held swimming competitions here. The park is also the largest entertainment park in the city, including the monument of revolutionary martyrs in Chenghai and the cemetery of martyrs in NANPENG island.
