Beiputuo temple is located in Nangong village, Yinghai District, Daxing District, Beijing.

brief introduction

  

Beiputuo temple is the only Buddhist temple with a long history in Daxing District of Beijing. It is one of the four Putuo temples of Guanyin Bodhisattva in East China (Beiputuo temple in Beijing, together with Zhoushan Putuo, Xiamen Nanputuo, Lhasa Potala Palace and West Putuo, is called Guanyin Bodhisattva's East China square Daochang). It covers an area of more than 100 mu, with beautiful water area, quiet environment, solemn temple, and effective Bodhisattva. Today, the holy land is named after the Lord, and it is a grand gathering.

 

history

On October 23, 2012, the Kaiguang Dharma meeting was held in Beiputuo temple to welcome Duobao Tathagata and miaosenshen Tathagata to the temple for worship. Meanwhile, large-scale repair projects were launched. This marks that Beiputuo temple has officially become a Buddhist temple. He was the first abbot of North Putuo temple. The temple is known as one of the four main roads of Guanyin Bodhisattva.

 

Architecture

There is a huge lake area in front of Beiputuo temple. The architectural style of the temple is similar to that of East Putuo temple and South Putuo temple. On the long corridors on both sides of the main hall of the temple, there are 100 Guanyin statues of the same height. The main hall is dedicated to Avalokitesvara, which is 5.80 meters high and carved with Thai rosewood. There is a release pool beside the temple. When the temple was first built, there was a temple life on the pavilion beside the pool to provide release service.
