Yinpingshan

Yinping mountain, the name of the mountain. It is located at the junction of Xiegang town and Huizhou City, in the east of Dongguan City, 55 kilometers south by east of Guancheng District, and connected with BAIYUNZHANG of Huiyang County in the East, covering an area of 5000 mu. It is known as "little Jiuzhaigou". The main peak of Yinpingzui mountain is 898 meters, which is named because it looks like a bottle of silver vase from afar.

In the South Village of Xiegang Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, there is a mountain called yinpingshan, 898 meters, which is the first peak in Dongguan. Yinpingshan Forest Park in Dongguan City is located in Xiegang town in the east of Dongguan City. It is 64km away from Dongguan City, 14km away from Xiegang Town, 60km away from Shenzhen City in the South and 30km away from Huizhou City in the East. It borders on Lilin town of Huiyang City in the East and northeast, Qingxi Town in the south, Changping Town and Zhangmutou town in the West and southwest, and Qiaotou town in the north.

Historical legend

The nature reserve covers the South management area, Yaoshan management area and Xiegang town forest farm, with a total area of 2518.3 hectares. In the distance, the mountain head looks like a bottle mouth, and the hillside and foot look like a bottle body. It is said that when goddess Guanyin was wandering, she was attracted by the beautiful scenery and forgot to take the immortal vase. After a long time, it became the top of the mountain, so it was called Yinping mountain.

Yinpingshan, the first peak in Dongguan, is known as "little Jiuzhaigou". The mouth of yinpingshan, the main peak, is 898 meters. From afar, it looks like a silver vase and the top of the mountain is like the mouth. There is a beautiful legend of Guanyin Bodhisattva leaving a bottle in Yinping mountain. Up to now, there is a poem about Su Dongpo intoxicated by Yinping: "Yinping mountains and waters flow all over the world, beautiful scenery intoxicates Dongpo. Dongpo climbs Yinping mountain and praises Luofu.".

Main attractions

Yinping mountain is covered by clouds all the year round, and the immortal clouds fly across it. Only when there is no cloud in the sky can it show its glory. Yinping mountain is a virgin land that has yet to be developed and has not been polluted. With clear water around the mountain, high mountains and dense forests, unique cliffs and rocks, waterfalls and streams, Yinping mountain is an excellent resort for mountaineering, sightseeing and tourism. Thousands of gullies and gullies, luxuriant forests and beautiful peaks, gurgling streams and the fragrance of birds and flowers are like a rare natural landscape painting like a dream in the world. It is also a pure natural original green garden.

In the mountains, there are many beautiful places. Such as: Butterfly Valley, echo Valley, stone monkey watching the moon, toad breathing pill These are all made up by some beautiful legends. festival activities

Xiegang, the local town, has created a festival for Yinping mountain. Every third Friday in September is the annual mountaineering Festival. There are many activities, including mountaineering competition, parent-child mountaineering competition (two or more people can participate) and mountain bike competition. There are also the opening ceremony of the mountaineering Festival and the closing ceremony Party of the mountaineering Festival, which are very wonderful programs.

The above ceremony parties and competitions are limited to people from Dongguan City, and people from other provinces and cities have not opened the competition yet. Xiegang yinpingshan is a very beautiful place. People from all walks of life are welcome to visit!

Traffic information

Self driving: from Beijing, Hong Kong and Macao (Guangzhou Shenzhen Expressway) to chaoguanhui (hugang Expressway), pay attention to follow the direction sign and get off when you see Xiegang exit. Then drive along Guanhui highway (Huizhou direction) for about 1.7 km and turn right. You can reach yinpingshan Forest Park in about 8 minutes.

Non self driving: you can take high-speed railway to Zhangmutou station in Guangzhou area, transfer to bus to Zhangmutou Zhentong bus station, then take Xiegang No.2 bus in the station to the South intersection station, and take a motorcycle to the gate of Yinpingzui forest park. In Huizhou area, you can take bus No. 689 at Huizhou railway station to Nanmian intersection station, and then transfer to a motorcycle to the gate of Yinpingzui forest park.

Starting from Dongguan: you can take the Dongguan Huizhou intercity light rail and get off at Lilin north station
