Wenchang gate is located in the south of Xi'an stele forest museum. It is one of the new city gates after the founding of new China. Kuixing tower is built on this section of the city wall, which is the only facility on the city wall of Xi'an that has nothing to do with military defense. Kuixing is one of the twenty-eight constellations in ancient Chinese astronomy. According to folklore, Kuixing dominates the rise and fall of literature. In the eyes of scholars, Kuixing has a supreme position. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Xi'an Fu Xue and Confucius Temple were built next to the city wall, which is where the Museum of stele forest is now. Therefore, Kuixing tower was also built on the city wall. The gate was restored when it was opened in 1986. Here, visitors can see the noble face of Kuixing with a vermilion pen in his right hand and an ink bucket in his left hand, and the head of the big Ao fish under his feet. In 1986, it was built to commemorate the 1250 anniversary of the introduction of Tang culture into Japan. In the garden, a monument of jibeizhenbei was built on the original site of Zijian of Tang Dynasty with a piece of natural granite without chiseling.
