Located at the entrance of maojianong, 187 juqian street, Changzhou City, the palace of protecting the king of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom was originally the seat of Yanghu county government office in Qing Dynasty. It is the Palace site of Chen kunshu, the protector of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. It has a history of nearly 150 years and is now a cultural relic protection unit in Jiangsu Province. The existing buildings are mainly seven Bay Hui shaped buildings with a patio stone floor in the middle. The eaves are decorated with dripping tiles with dragon and phoenix patterns and jumping dragon's gate patterns. The long windows downstairs are carved with Danfeng patterns. The south facing windows upstairs are carved with palindromic patterns. All these are architectural works of art in the period of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. The Huizi zhuanlou (commonly known as zhuanma Lou) of the palace faces north and south, 24.5 meters wide from north to South and 24 meters long from east to west, covering an area of 588 square meters. The building is divided into two floors. The north and south buildings are seven Bay, connected by East and West wing rooms, with a 5-meter-wide and 13.5-meter-long patio in the middle. The eaves are decorated with exquisite patterns such as dragon and Phoenix, carp and dragon and dragon leaping dragon's gate Features: on the wooden and stone components such as Fanxuan beam, pier and floor long window, there are Phoenix, bat, fish, rabbit, squirrel, dragonfly, grasshopper, lentil, gourd, grape, Ganoderma lucidum, peony and other beautiful decorative patterns, which are full of strong local flavor; its carving is extensive and powerful, with smooth lines and strong three-dimensional sense, among which there are 16 murals in Yingtian temple, including Ludang solitary duck, Hushan double geese and Qiuyan landscape are the only existing murals of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, which are very precious. The animal images on the murals are lifelike. Although they have gone through 150 years of war, they still have the style of that year.
