Located in Nanzhuang Village, Jiuhou Township, Yichuan County, Henan Province, Heming Gorge Scenic Spot belongs to Funiu mountain range, with a total area of 10 square kilometers. 26 kilometers away from Yichuan County, it is a natural canyon in the hinterland of Jiugao mountain. It is composed of cliffs and precipices, waterfalls and flowing springs, qishiling stream, trees and plants, and reservoir Bitan. It integrates danger, wonder, seclusion and beauty.

Development history

The scenic spot was officially developed and constructed in March 2010. In 2017, Heming Gorge Scenic Spot in Yichuan County was approved as a national 3A scenic spot.

geographical environment

Heming gorge is located in Nanzhuang Village, Jiuhou Township, 3 kilometers west of Shuiliang highway. From north to south, the scenic area is composed of three parts: Canyon, water lake and waterfall. The canyon is zigzag and meandering, with streams jingling, red rocks or rocks on both sides. The environment is quiet and the air is fresh. About one kilometer's journey, you can reach Shuihu Lake by climbing the dam. The lake is triangular in shape, with rippling green waves on the surface, reflecting the green peaks, and a panoramic view of the lake and mountains. Boating on the lake, mountain wind blowing, like fairyland. Abandon the boat and climb along the valley to the waterfall. The rain curtain falls down from the cliff more than 10 meters wide. The deep cave behind the rain curtain makes people feel mysterious.

Main attractions

Because it is located in the hinterland of Jiugao mountain, the winter temperature is maintained at - 10 ℃ all the year round, and the ice waterfall and ice hanging formed by waterfall and spring are natural, magnificent and unique.
