Founded on April 28, 2012, China engraving art museum is located on Liugong Island, a beautiful 5A national scenic spot in Weihai, Shandong Province. It is funded by Liugong Island Management Committee of Weihai Municipal People's government.

Founded on April 28, 2012, China engraving art museum is located on Liugong Island, a beautiful 5A national scenic spot in Weihai, Shandong Province. It is funded by Liugong Island Management Committee of Weihai Municipal People's government. With an exhibition area of nearly 1000 square meters and a collection of more than 300 fine engraving works and more than 400 calligraphy masterpieces, the museum has a high artistic value and strong visual impact, and is the highest art palace of modern Chinese engraving art. In particular, the museum is transformed from the restored distillation tower during the British Lease period, which realizes the perfect integration of the protection of historical and cultural buildings and modern lettering art. At the same time, the museum is also the carving art creation base of Shandong Calligraphy Association and the carving teaching practice base of calligraphy College of Qufu Normal University. The museum integrates exhibition, research, teaching and communication of modern lettering art. Mr. Wu Dongmin, vice chairman of China Calligrapher Association and director of lettering Research Association, inscribes the title of the museum. We warmly welcome experts, scholars, colleagues and friends from all walks of life to the museum for guidance, exchange and exhibition.
