Shangshang Temple

Panshan scenic spot is located in the urban area of Jixian County, Tianjin. It is a national 5A scenic spot. Panshan is a place frequented by literati of past dynasties. Cao Cao of Han Dynasty visited and wrote poems for several times, and Qianlong of Qing Dynasty visited Panshan 32 times.

Located in Panshan, Shangshang temple was built in the second year of Taihe in Tang Dynasty, with a history of 1181 years. Qianlong of Qing Dynasty went to Shangshang temple seven times, and left a large number of cliff inscriptions and poems.

During the Anti Japanese War, the 13th regiment of Jidong Anti Japanese base was hidden in Shangshang temple. After the Japanese army found it, it set fire to Shangshang temple.

Since 2006, Panshan scenic spot has been rebuilt as shangshangsi scenic spot.
