Tanghuai park is located in Dicun street in the south of Taiyuan city. It is composed of two gardens, North and south, with a total planning area of 2.58 hectares. Beiyuan, also known as the hometown of Di Gong, is the hometown of Di Renjie. It covers an area of 6600 square meters, with pavilions and corridors, inscriptions and murals, ancient trees and flowers competing for splendor and pleasant scenery.

The architectural sculpture of the park strives to imitate the style of Tang Dynasty. Whether the corridor or the pavilion, the keynote is mainly gray red, and the architectural structure lines are simple and bright. Compared with the magnificent and rich buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties, it gives people a solemn feeling and reproduces the architectural art level of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. In the park, the statue of Di Renjie, the stele of Di Lianggong's hometown, the stele of Tang Huaihe, the legendary mural of Di Renjie's case solving, the article written by Fan Zhongyan of Northern Song Dynasty, and the stele of Di Lianggong written by Huang Tingjian narrate the legendary achievements of Di Renjie, the famous Prime Minister of Tang Dynasty. After more than 1300 years of wind and rain, the old locust tree planted by Di Mu still has new branches and leaves. When the sun rises in the East and sets in the west, from different angles, it presents the scene of Danfeng rising in the sun and Fengqi perching on the branches, which has high academic and artistic value. Many famous ancient tree experts and landscape architects in China have highly appraised it, calling it "living cultural relic" and "the most ancient locust".
