Juyunfeng

Juyun peak (also known as conch peak) is 841 meters above sea level. It is one of the famous scenic spots in Chongqing Jinyun Mountain National Nature Reserve, behind Jinyun temple.

Original name

On the peak, the trees are dense and green. Due to the evaporation of water vapor at the summit, clouds often gather, so it is called juyun. Therefore, the peak has a conch cave, so it is also called conch peak.

geographical position

Located in Beibei District, Shapingba District and Bishan County of Chongqing, it is about 45 km away from Central District of Chongqing and 15 km away from Beipei city. In the Jinyun Mountain Scenic Area, the back mountain of Jinyun temple, the south of shizifeng.

traffic

Bus routes: Jiefangbei, Nanping and Yangjiaping all take buses to Beibei. When you get to Beibei, you can transfer to Jinyun Mountain tourist bus at the underground shopping mall station. soil

The soil is acidic yellow soil and paddy soil formed by weathering of Triassic Xujiahe Formation thick quartz sandstone, carbonaceous shale and argillaceous sandstone. The piedmont area is a neutral or slightly calcareous yellow loaned purple soil developed on the purple sand shale interlayer in Jurassic.

The soil can be divided into yellow soil and paddy soil, with a small amount of sporadic purple soil. The yellow soil can be divided into two subgroups: yellow soil and yellow soil, each of which has a genus, namely, cold sandy yellow soil and cold sandy yellow soil. There are 6 soil species in cold sandy yellow soil and 4 soil species in cold sandy yellow soil. There is only one subclass, one soil genus and three soil species in paddy soil.

Jinyun Mountain rock layer is composed of sand and shale, the upper layer is thick sandstone, the lower layer is shale, shale water. The thicker the rock is, the more water there is. At the interface of sandstone and shale, there is contact water flowing out. After coal mining, there is coal cave water in the coal cave. Under the long-term action of the water, the rock mass is formed with the ridge line as the watershed. Many parallel parallel rivers and gullies on the southeast and northwest wings constitute the comb like water system of Jinyun Mountain.

There are 2 classes, 20 orders, 147 families and 1264 species of Arthropoda. There are 1071 species in 119 families, 17 orders of Insecta and 193 species in 28 families, 3 orders of Arachnida. There are 189 species of terrestrial wild vertebrates in 51 families (2 subfamilies) of 4 classes, 2L orders. Among them, Amphibia has 1 order, 3 families, 8 species; Reptilia has 2 orders, 6 families, 21 species; ornitha has 12 orders, 30 families (2 subfamilies), 134 species; mammalia has 6 orders, 12 families, 26 species.

Botany

There are 1966 species, 992 genera and 246 families in the nature reserve. Among them, there are 105 species belonging to 19 genera and 2 families of freshwater algae, 109 species belonging to 77 genera and 45 families of bryophytes, 148 species belonging to 75 genera and 38 families of pteridophytes, 45 species belonging to 26 genera and 9 families of gymnosperms, and 1559 species belonging to 795 genera and 152 families of angiosperms. Among these plants, there are 549 woody plants, accounting for 27.9%; 1109 herbaceous plants, accounting for 56.4%; 94 bamboo plants, accounting for 4.8%; 109 bryophytes, accounting for 5.6%; 105 algae, accounting for 5.3%.

Conch cave

Luodong is located on the right side of juyunfeng mountain. The diameter of the cave is 1.8 meters and the depth is about 3 meters. The shape of the cave is like a conch. When the mountain wind blows into the cave, the sound of the cave is heard, so it is called a conch cave. Later, a kind-hearted man knocked out the convex stone in the cave, which destroyed the natural conditions for the air vibration sound. The snail sound disappeared, and now the cave is only left. The "conch cave" above was written by Mr. Deng Fulin of Southwest Normal University in 1998 and carved by craftsman Zhao Zhongyi.

Nearby attractions

Lion Peak is 864 meters above sea level. Looking up from below, it looks like a lion lying on its face. There is a bronze lion on Lion Peak, so it is called Lion Peak. From the top of the peak, you can see the Jialing River and the beautiful Beibei city.

Jinyun temple was built in 423, the first year of Jingping of Liu Song Dynasty. Later it was called "Xiangsi Temple", "Chongsheng Temple" and "chongjiao Temple". It was granted by emperors of all dynasties. Jinyun temple is the only ancient Buddhist temple in China. It has been running a school since ancient times and is called "Jinyun academy".

Xianglu peak is 854 meters above sea level, opposite to Shizi peak. A stone pillar beside the peak is about 20 meters high, similar to Xianglu. There is a 41 meter high observation building on the peak.

Xiao ping's former residence is located in the southeast corner of shanmuyuan, more than 300 meters away from helongyuan. It consists of two small buildings with one floor and one floor. In front of it is the former Office of the Southwest Bureau of the Communist Party of China, and in the back is the former residence of Comrade Xiao Ping when he was the Secretary of the Southwest Bureau of the Communist Party of China.

The former office building of Marshal he long, commander of Southwest Military Region, is a building with one floor and one floor. It is a combination of Chinese and Western architecture, which is hidden in the green pines. In front of the building, there is a stone statue of Marshal Helong's half body military uniform.

Luoyang Bridge in front of Jinyun Temple Mountain Gate, there is a small stone arch bridge, across the stream, I do not know when it was founded. It is said that Feng Zhuangyuan often went to the bridge to recite poems and essays in front of Chaoyang Luo, so it was named Luoyang Bridge. The existing Luoyang Bridge was rebuilt when the highway was built in 1953. The bridge is 4 meters wide, hidden in the green jungle, beautiful and quiet, often for visitors to stop.

Bajiaojing is more than 100 meters northwest of Jinyun temple. It is chiseled from stone ground and more than 10 meters deep. The water is clear and green, and it doesn't dry up all the year round. The stone railings on the well were built in octagonal shape with bluestone in 1953. It is said that when Feng Zhuangyuan was studying here, he used to wash ink in the pool, so he called it "wash ink pool". The stone tablet of "bajiaojing" inscribed by Zhou Yunquan in 1990 is now standing beside the well.

Dai lake is behind Shaolong temple and beside the road under Jiulong village. The water is as clear and green as Dai lake. In 1930, Wu Fangji, a poet of Baiwu in Jiangjin, was named "Daihu". In 1935, the calligrapher Ouyang Jian wrote the title "Daihu". In 1934, Deng Shaoqin, the manager of Beiquan Park, and others organized Beiquan Daihu water conservancy association to borrow 1.2 million francs from Sichuan Provincial Water Conservancy Commission, build dams to store water, and set up a "Daihu" stone tablet. In 1955, Daihu dam was rebuilt. Now the water storage area of Daihu lake is nearly 30 mu. There are more than 140 species of drum algae belonging to 20 genera in the lake. It is an important protection base for freshwater algae. It is an excellent place for fishing and boating. In 1997, Qingyin group company developed Daihu and established "holiday village". After the strong social reaction, the municipal government came forward to stop it.

Longtang is located near bajiaochi in the west of Jinyun temple. It is a flat and deep pond with a width of 30 meters and a depth of 30 meters. It is small at the top and large at the bottom, and is round. The surrounding bamboo trees are luxuriant, the vegetation at the bottom of the pond is verdant, and there is gurgling water, which keeps flowing all the year round. Local farmers used ropes to explore and collect herbs.
