Chongqing Tiefengshan National Forest Park is located in the north of Wanzhou District, Chongqing, 7 kilometers away from Wanzhou city. It is a suburban forest park with a total area of 9100 hectares. The park, with its rich Buddhist culture, beautiful forest scenery, natural landscape and cultural landscape, is magnificent.

Chongqing Tiefengshan National Forest Park is located in the north of Wanzhou District, Chongqing. The park has a superior location and convenient transportation. It not only has the golden waterway of the Yangtze River, but also has the Datong Wanzhou railway and Chongqing Wanzhou high-speed railway, as well as the convenient Expressway and Wuqiao airport. The park is 7 kilometers away from Wanzhou city, belonging to suburban forest park. The elevation of the park is 530.0 ~ 1355.1 meters, the total area of the forest park is 9100 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 95%.

There are 869 kinds of forest plants and more than 500 kinds of forest animals in the park. It is a rich treasure house of animals and plants. Pinus massoniana, Cunninghamia lanceolata, Metasequoia glyptostroboides and so on are the main plantations, while the subtropical evergreen deciduous broad-leaved forests, such as Cyclobalanopsis glauca, Castanopsis fissa, Phoebe Zhennan, Acer truncatum, are the main ones. The majestic, dangerous, marvelous, precipitous and beautiful mountain peaks, precipices and cliffs, covered by clouds and mist, are majestic. There are not only secluded springs and beautiful waters, waterfalls and jade splashes, but also exotic flowers and grass.

Main attractions

The park is divided into four scenic spots: jinshiling, Fenghuang mountain, Tiefo temple and shell mountain. Here, azaleas bloom all over the mountains and fields in spring, and are in full swing; in summer, the streams in Shanzhang are murmuring with the fragrance of birds and flowers; in autumn, there are many green clusters, red leaves and wild fruits hanging on the branches; in winter, it is snowy and covered with silver. The main natural scenic spots are Qianfeng shucui, Chaotianmen sunrise, Fenghuangling cloud sea, Tiangu Yingfeng, shigongshimu, Wuchi Lianzhu and Zhuying ningcui. The park has a long history of historical sites and rich and colorful cultural landscape. Fengyi temple was built in the Ming Dynasty. It is a famous temple in Eastern Chongqing and a famous Buddhist holy land. Yangerwo cliff carvings are well preserved after hundreds of years of vicissitudes.
