Love ladder

Love ladder refers to Liu Guojiang's hand chiseled ladder down the mountain for his wife. It has 6208 levels and is known as "love ladder". On December 18, 2007, the old man Liu Guojiang died; on October 30, 2012, at 21:58, the old man Xu Chaoqing died.

In the 1950s, 20-year-old farmer Liu Guojiang of Zhongshan ancient town in Jiangjin, Chongqing fell in love with Xu Chaoqing, who was 10 years older than him. In order to avoid the rumors of the world, they eloped hand in hand to the mountains. In order to make Xu Chaoqing travel safely, Liu Guojiang spent his whole life chiseling stone ladders on the cliffs to lead to the outside world.

Chongqing Jiangjin has been the "golden waterway" since ancient times. The four major transportation arteries of Chongqing Guizhou railway, Chengdu Chongqing railway and highway intersect in the territory, and the transportation network extends in all directions. Jiangjin is connected with the main city of Chongqing in the East, Guizhou in the north and Sichuan in the West. It is 45 km from the main city of Chongqing to Jiangjin of Chongqing, 343 km from Chengdu of Sichuan to Jiangjin of Chongqing, and 79 km from Jiangjin of Chongqing to simian mountain scenic spot. Train: you can come to Tianjin from Chongqing, Sichuan and Guizhou. Jiangjin station is located in degan sub district office, which is separated from Jiangjin city by a river. Self provided car: if you take your own car, you can enter Jiangjin, Chongqing from Chongqing Kunming expressway, Xiamen Chengdu Expressway and Chongqing Guizhou expressway. You can reach Jiangjin via Shuangxi, wenjiadian, Shengquan and degan. You can go south along Jinbai highway (S107) via Jiangjin city, turn right at Youdu River and go to Zhongshan ancient town. Steamers: the main city of Chongqing Yibin, Sichuan and other places have several steamers per day, and they all dock at the taimen Wharf in the north of Jiangjin city. Note: the bus from Chongqing to Jiangjin is only 45 minutes, so tourists should choose this route carefully.

Special attention: Zhongshan ancient town love ladder, driving about 40 minutes, the whole asphalt road, the road condition is very good, walking takes 6-8 hours. So if you don't love hiking and don't have your own car, please be careful.

After getting off, you need to take a motorcycle to Zhongshan ancient town, which is 5 kilometers away from Zhongshan ancient town, and the fare is 10 yuan.

2. In 2012, the passenger transport line from Qijiang to simian mountain was opened.
