Zhang Ruiting old house is located at No.9 Huayuan Road, Heping District, Tianjin cultural relics protection unit. It is a historic building with key protection level. It is now Tianjin Federation of industry and commerce. Zhang Ruiting (1878-1944), born in Tianjin, is a famous industrialist. Thanks to the support of the training officers in the small stations, Hengji German military clothing factory was set up to supply military supplies for the small stations, and then to provide military clothing for the warlords of various factions. For example, the Northeast military clothing was all made by Hengji German. Then, with abundant funds, we set up Hengyuan canvas factory, Hengyuan Textile Co., Ltd., and took over Beiyang yarn factory. Nankai school education fund has been funded 100000 yuan, the school auditorium specially named Ruiting auditorium.

Introduction to architecture

The building was built in 1922, covering an area of about 2500 square meters, with a construction area of about 2300 square meters. It is designed by Austrian architect Gai Ling. It is a three story building with brick and wood structure (with basement and attic) and mixed water wall. The entrance of the front porch on the first floor is a semi-circular flower hall with a transparent glass roof. The glass windows are inlaid with colored glass to form a landscape picture. There is a fountain in the hall, with luxurious facilities. The roof is red Mensa style, with unique shape and contrast between the virtual and the real. The classical column style and vase railing on the eaves are exquisite and appropriate. It has the characteristics of classical architecture.
