Wu Songping's old house is located at No.117 Kunming Road, Heping District, Tianjin cultural relic protection unit. It is a historic building with key protection level and is now a commercial house.

Wu Songping is from Wuyuan, Jiangxi Province. The eldest son of Wu diaoqing, one of the four early compradors in Tianjin, graduated from the Beiyang patrol Academy in 1904 and got the title of alternate magistrate. Later, he went to the United States to study military affairs. After returning home, he served as the director of Shanxi Education Department. After the fall of Tianjin, he was the managing director of Dahua kerosene company, a Japanese funded enterprise.

The building was built in 1934, covering an area of about 700 square meters, with a construction area of about 800 square meters. Designed by Austrian architect gailing, it is a two-story building with brick and wood structure (partial three floors). The plane is octagonal, with red tile slope top, external eaves of mixed water wall and partial sulfur jar brick fair faced wall. The facade composition is simple and simple, the shape is distinctive, the towering double slope top is scattered, and the whole building is generous and dignified.
