Shangping Tulou group

Shangping Tulou group is located in shajian Town, Hua'an County. It is the earliest Tulou group with clear chronology in China. It was built in Hongwu Period of Ming Dynasty and is known as the "birthplace of Fujian Tulou".

It is mainly composed of Qiyun building, the first round earth building in Fujian, the "mother of earth buildings", Rixin building, the first courtyard earth building in Fujian, and Shengping building, the first stone earth building in Fujian. At present, there are no residents in the three Tulou, and they show their own different attitudes of 600 years of hard wind and rain, with a unique beauty of fragility and vicissitudes.
