East Sheshan

The East Sheshan and the West Sheshan are far away from each other. The bamboo is the best. There are more than 50 kinds of birds in the forest hundred bird garden, which has become the only bird watching base in Shanghai. Every year on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, Chongyang Climbing Festival is held, which is suitable for bringing the elderly here for fitness bird watching.

East Sheshan garden is located in the East peak of Sheshan mountain, Songjiang District, Shanghai, with an altitude of 72.4 meters, covering an area of 850 mu, lush trees and nine peaks.

Meigong fishing rock

On the south slope of Dongshe mountain, surrounded by Xiushui, there is a stone in the shape of a rock, protruding from the river, which looks like a place where immortals fish or play chess. According to historical records: at the end of the Ming Dynasty, 29 year old writer, calligrapher and painter Chen Jiru (named Meigong) burned the clothes of Confucian scholars and lived in seclusion in Xiaokunshan. When he was 59 years old, because his mother was buried in Chenshan, he moved to East Sheshan. He wrote books and studied calligraphy and painting behind closed doors. I often enjoy fishing in my spare time. This rock is the place where Meigong is fishing, so it's called it. In addition, "Baishi mountain villa" is located to the east of Meigong diaoyuji. The rocks are well arranged. Unfortunately, the site has been abandoned.

Sigiriya Lion Rock

Shiziyan is located in the south peak of East Sheshan mountain. There are cliffs dozens of feet under the rock, and the stone patterns are curled. The shape of the mountain is like a crouching lion, and its curly stone pattern is like a lion's mane.

Muyu-Stone

In the West peak of the East Sheshan mountain, there is a stone wall shaped like a fish. It is said that when the sky is overcast, I lean on the stone to listen, and I vaguely hear the sound of wooden fish or singing words. This is the famous bamboo roar in Sheshan. The painting of Xiaoxiang by Chen Jiru, a scholar of the Ming Dynasty, was inspired by this and is now collected in the Songjiang Museum.

Qilong weir

There is a winding and undulating stone path in the East Sheshan mountain, from the south of the mountain to the north of the ridge, just like a giant dragon riding on the ridge, so it is called "dragon riding Weir". This ancient road is paved with stone steps, only one meter wide. It is an ideal summer resort with thick shade on both sides, gentle mountain breeze and quiet environment.

Buddhist spring

In the east of Baishi villa in East Sheshan, after Yao cemetery, there is a spring in the middle of the mountain, which is fresh, delicious and warm, so it is called Buddha fragrant spring. On the stone beside the spring, there are three characters of "fo Xiang Quan" in seal script and postscript in cursive script.

Xixinquan

It is located at the foot of the west slope of Dongshe mountain. It is said that it was chiseled by the Cong Taoist in the third year of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom in the Northern Song Dynasty. The name of the spring comes from the Buddhist theory of "no self". It is said that to enter the Buddhist kingdom, one must reach the realm of "selflessness", and to achieve this realm, one must first "wash the heart" before abandoning all worldly ideas and being clean. People can reach this state by drinking the spring water of "xixinquan". This spring still exists today, and its water quality is very clear. "Xixinquan" is a famous natural spring in Sheshan. Bai Juyi once praised that "it is the clearest to smell Songjiang Water". It is a great pleasure for tourists to make a cup of tea produced by Sheshan with "xixinquan" water!

Forest bathing beach

With the help of the excellent ecological environment of three-dimensional forest vegetation and dense trees, a new forest bathing place has been set up in Beifeng, covering an area of 12 mu. East Sheshan forest bathing place, following the essence of the international forest bathing beach, has also dissolved into the strong national color. Qigong therapy, national bamboo building, bamboo maze, barbecue and other new fitness contents are set up in the bathing place, creating a good environment for tourists to enjoy the gift of nature.

Bird Garden

The forest hundred birds garden was built in June 1997, covering an area of 20000 square meters. The park has lush trees and crystal green water. There are nearly 50 species of birds ranging from 6000 to 10000, including white stork, Red Crowned Crane, Green Peacock and swan, which are first and second class national rare protected birds, as well as macaws and other rare birds introduced from abroad.

Butterfly Garden

Butterfly garden is located at the foot of the mountain on the west side of Dongshe, covering an area of 6000 square meters. It is the largest butterfly garden in East China. It is composed of two parts: one is the static exhibition hall of butterfly art, including the science exhibition hall, the exhibition hall of rare butterflies from all over the world, the exhibition hall of exquisite crafts, and the other is the dynamic butterfly viewing paradise. It can be said that ten thousand butterflies gather together, like a living painting and a flowing poem.

street luge

Located in the north of East Sheshan mountain, it is a kind of sports and entertainment project to exercise courage, will and coordination. The whole set of equipment is imported from Germany, which is the advanced level in the world. The whole course is 606m, the height difference is 60m, the average slope is 10%, and the maximum sliding speed can reach 10m / s.

Sheshan cableway

Sheshan ropeway is the only aerial passenger ropeway in Shanghai. With a total length of 1080 meters and an elevation difference of 86 meters, the cableway connects Sheshan mountain from the east to the West. When you get on the cableway, you can have a panoramic view of the beautiful scenery of the two mountains. You can't help feeling at ease!
