Banyan Garden
Rongyuan, formerly known as Xihong, also known as Fengshan, is located in Jinmen Island, an outlying island of Taiwan Province. It belongs to Jinhu Town, Jinmen county. It is the former residence of Hong Shou, assistant teacher of the Imperial College during the Jiajing and Longqing periods of the Ming Dynasty. Since ancient times, there have been "less than 100 people, 36 officials in Beijing".
In August 1967, Jiang Jingguo came here to inspect and instruct to plant flowers widely, and turned it into a scenic spot, and named it "banyan garden" for its ancient banyan trees and beards. Because a large number of trees were cut down, they were unable to withstand the huge wind and sand. As a result, many houses were blown down, leaving only one "Weilu" family.
