Prince Hill Forest Park is a provincial forest park, one of the eight new scenic spots in Huadu District. It is located in the north of Huadu District, at the junction of Huadu and Qingyuan City, and in the west of Qingyuan, across Huadu terraces and Shiling towns. It covers an area of 3200 hectares. The park is surrounded by mountains, mountains and deep valleys. There are many forest vegetation communities in the park. It is a rare "paradise" in Guangzhou.

The forest park is located in the north of Huadu District, at the junction of Conghua District, Qingyuan City in the west, across the town of Timian and Shiling, covering an area of 3200 hectares. The park is surrounded by mountains, mountains and valleys. The forest vegetation community in the park is various. It is a rare "paradise" in Guangzhou. The Northeast peak of the park is called Prince Hill, which is the second peak of Huadu District; the southwest peak is called Yingya mountain, which is the first peak of Huadu District. The nest between the two peaks is called daaoding. It is only 36 km and 15 km away from Guangzhou central city and new Baiyun airport respectively.

Prince mountain forest park is densely forested with exotic flowers and plants. The undulating peaks are green and green. Streams and waterfalls are scattered in the deep mountains and valleys. Wild animals are frequently found, such as wild boars, beavers, rabbits and pheasants. There is also a cave road hidden in the area, which is a good place to explore because it has not been fully developed.

There is a legend in Wangzishan. Long ago, when the son of the Dragon King of Donghai and his beloved girl came here, they saw a beautiful scenery and forgot to return. The Dragon King ordered them to be recalled, but they didn't want to, so they were turned into two peaks, one is Prince mountain, the other is queen mountain.

The animal and plant resources in the forest park of Prince mountain are very rich. The air quality in the forest is determined as "the cleanest air" by the provincial forestry Exploration Institute. It has high negative ion content, high trees, dense forests, clear streams and hidden caves. It is a good place to explore. There are many types of plant communities in Wangzishan, and more than 10 Alsophila spinulosa plants have been found. Its plant community is multi-layered forest, rich in Chinese herbal medicine, there are more than 100 drug source varieties.

Prince Hill Forest Park is divided into sightseeing and entertainment area, Shouxing palace rest and health recreation area, banyan nest wildlife breeding and viewing area according to its functions. The scenic spots under planning include Furong Lake sightseeing and entertainment area, Wangzishan mountain climbing area, danzhuba forest science popularization area, baishatian fruit sightseeing and entertainment area, and xikengshan village sightseeing area. Located in the north of the park, the Wangzishan mountain climbing area covers an area of 510 hectares. The area has dense forests, connected with waterfalls and tambourines. The natural secondary forests are well preserved. There are many forest vegetation communities, and there is a beautiful legend of the prince mountain. It is a good place for tourists to climb mountains and return to nature. According to the function, the area is divided into wangzi mountain, YAYING mountain climbing area, Prince mountain legend scenic spot landscape exploration area and "man's village" folk custom tourist area.

Tourism information

Guangzhou self driving tourists can go north along national highway 106 to the center of Timian Town, and then follow the signs to enter Prince Hill from east to west. They can also enter Prince Hill from furongmen via the main road in furongzhang scenic area.

Huaduzhan Qianlu bus station departs from Monday to Friday at 08:00 14:30 every Saturday at 08:00 10:00 13:30 15:00 every Monday to Friday at 09:30 16:30 every Saturday at 09:30 11:30 15:00 16:30, charging 9 yuan for the whole journey.
