Baiyun Wanfo cave

Baiyun Wanfo cave is a magical landscape on the golden roof of Houshan mountain. There are hundreds of natural caves dedicated to Buddha statues on the stone walls along the way, which is very spectacular.

Baiyun Wanfo cave is divided into three layers, layers of holes, high and low scattered, twists and turns, stretching about 2.5 kilometers from north to south.

Baiyun Wanfo cave

Baiyun Wanfo cave is located 34 kilometers south of Dujiangyan City. It is in the shape of a crescent moon on the hillside connecting Yinghua mountain and Xiong'er mountain. Over 1600 meters above sea level. On the cliff, there are hundreds of natural caves, large and small. It is said that the white cloud ancestor lived in seclusion here, so it was named.

Each cave is carved with different Buddha statues. When you visit Baiyun Wanfo cave, you can walk through cliffs and ancient bamboo groves.

Looking at Yinghua peak in the north and Hongyan peak in the south, the white clouds are rising in thousands of ravines, the sea of clouds is vast, the peaks on the clouds are like Penglai Fairy Island; in summer, the flowing spring, the waterfall, the sound of birds and springs are endless; in winter, the mountains are dancing with silver snakes, the ice curtain and the jade pillars are like Qionglou Yuyu. Staying in Baiyun cave at night, listening to the chirping of birds in the morning is like Tianle in the cloud gate. When you push the window, you can see a hundred birds playing in the forest. It's fascinating to see all kinds of strange peaks, deep and wonderful caves, birds in the forest, green springs and long white clouds.
