DANQINGHE National Forest Park is located in the DANQINGHE Experimental Forest Farm in the north of Yilan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, 45 kilometers away from the North Bank of Songhua River. The total area of the park is 2850 hectares. Its administrative region is Yilan County, which is the experimental forest farm directly under Harbin Forestry Bureau.

The park is located on the south slope of Xiaoxing'an Mountains. Balan River and Danqing river run through the middle of the park. The highest altitude is 1028.4 meters, the lowest is 190 meters, and the average altitude is about 500 meters. The forest park covers an area of 2850 hectares.

The park belongs to the mid temperate continental monsoon climate, the rainfall is concentrated in July and August, the annual rainfall is 600mm; the average annual temperature is 10 20c, the maximum temperature is + 31 "C, the minimum temperature is - 350C; the frost free period is about 120 days. The park is rich in water resources. Balan river is about 10 kilometers through the territory, with an average width of about 50 meters; Danqing river is about 3.5 meters wide. The water surface is wide and sharp, the water is clear and transparent. The main soil in the park is dark brown soil, accounting for 94.9% of the soil area, which is suitable for the growth of forest plants. The park is rich in forest resources, the main trees are: spruce, fir, Korean pine, oak, forged tree, maple birch, black birch and so on more than 10 kinds of tree species; the main undergrowth are: club, Lespedeza, cilaoya, acanthopanax senticosus, Schisandra chinensis and so on more than 20 kinds. The total management area of the forest farm is 14723 hectares, the forest land area is 13562 hectares, the forest land area is 13370 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 92.85%.

Yueqinghe Forest Park has dense forests and rich vegetation, which creates a good habitat for the survival of wild animals. More than 90 kinds of mammals, birds, reptiles and other animals can be seen here all year round. The main species are: red deer, sika deer, fox, wild boar, Zhangzi, Baozi, jackal, Qingyang, Zhuli, pheasant, Songya, etc.

The park has convenient transportation. The forest farm is 45 km (cement road) to Yilan, 12.5 km to the main peak of sikuaishi scenic spot and 12.5 km to the primeval forest scenic spot.

Development and construction

DANQINGHE National Forest Park carries out the development and construction of forest tourism with the concept of big tourism. While strengthening the construction of the rafting project at the source of balan River in DANQINGHE National Forest Park, it vigorously promotes the infrastructure construction, expands the reception capacity and optimizes the tourism environment.

DANQINGHE National Forest Park is located on the North Bank of Songhua River on the south slope of Xiaoxing'an Mountains, in the construction area of DANQINGHE Experimental Forest Farm directly under Harbin Forestry Bureau, with a total operating area of 2850 hectares. In 2003, it was promoted from the original provincial level to the national level with the approval of the State Forestry Bureau.

Relying on the advantages of resources, DANQINGHE Experimental Forest Farm determined forest tourism as a key development project, and made scientific and reasonable planning and construction of DANQINGHE National Forest Park. The park is rich in forest tourism resources, including strange peaks and rocks, dangerous rock cliffs, strange caves, virgin forests, glacial valleys, rare beasts, green mountains, green waters, trees blocking the sun, and exotic flowers and plants competing for beauty. At the same time, they have also developed red tourism, such as: Anti Japanese army hospital, anti Japanese well, anti Japanese martyrs' tombs, anti Japanese Monument and other sites; they also rely on the broad water area, clear water, turbulent water and beautiful scenery on both sides of the balan River, which flows through the forest farm for 12 kilometers, to develop and construct the famous rafting project at the source of the balan River, in addition, hunting grounds, skiing The site has been included in the development plan.

According to the development goal of "small forest farm, big tourism", they have invested more than 15 million yuan in infrastructure construction.
