Coinage Museum
Ningbo coin museum is located in the Ningbo money guild hall at No. 10, zhanchuan street. Founded in 1926, Ningbo money guild hall is the only well preserved money guild hall in China. On December 12, 1988, with the approval of the provincial people's government, it became a cultural relics protection unit at the provincial level. In 1994, funded by the people's Bank of Ningbo, the coin museum was opened in Ningbo Qianye guild hall and officially opened to the outside world. Ningbo coin museum is the only Coin Museum opened to the outside world by the financial system. The museum displays more than 2000 coins from the Shang Dynasty to the Republic of China in chronological order. These currencies reflect the ups and downs of politics, economy, military, culture and other aspects of a country in different historical periods from different angles.
