Yu Jiashan

Yujiashan, also known as yoga mountain, is located in the north of Huazhong University of science and technology in Wuhan. It is 149.5 meters high and covers an area of 1.89 square kilometers. It is the highest peak in the downtown area of Wuhan and belongs to the afterblood of Dabie Mountain.

Yu Jiashan is over 100 million years old. As early as Paleozoic, there were many sea land alternations in Wuhan area, when seawater intruded into the crust surface of Wuhan. In the Jurassic Triassic period, a large crustal movement, Yanshan movement, took place in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and most parts of northern China, which further raised these strata into mountains. You should know that the world's highest Mount Qomolangma is only 30 million years old, while Yujiashan, which is only a hundred meters above sea level, is a senior relative to Mount Qomolangma.

Scenery

When you climb the top of Yujia mountain and overlook due south, you can have a panoramic view of the Huake campus of thousands of mu; when you look to the East and North, you can see the 80 square kilometers of East Lake, Luojia mountain of Wuda and Wugang. In the West and south, it is connected with the high-tech zone of Optics Valley, which is full of science and technology talents. In the East, it is close to the National Forest Park.

Yujiashan has Yoga thatched cottage, fumigation Pavilion, buming Bufei Pavilion, fengfeitai and other scenic spots, as well as historical blockhouses and air raid shelters and other "war preparation" facilities. In the morning, people face the morning fog, climbing, morning exercise and morning reading. In the evening, on the promenade of the Yoga thatched cottage, beside the pavilion, and on the phoenix flying platform, you can see couples of yanyunan, or cuddling up, or holding hands, or walking. The setting sun, green and quiet Yujiashan, seems to have become a paradise of love. This secluded and beautiful mountain, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, has become a treasure in the hands of all previous central Chinese adults, an immortal complex in their hearts, and the pride of central China University.
