After the main hall of the summer resort, Jingcheng hall. It is the palace of the Qing emperor. It was built in 1710, the 49th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi.

The hall is 7 rooms wide and 3 rooms deep. Emperor Kangxi called it "beautiful all around, ten li Pinghu Lake, and cool air", so it got its name. There is a small courtyard on both sides of the main hall, which is the residence of empress and concubine. In 1860, when the British and French allied forces invaded Beijing, Emperor Xianfeng took his concubines, such as the East and West palaces, out of Beijing to Rehe to seek refuge. Emperor Jiaqing and Emperor Xianfeng died here.

The name of the palace. In the north of the long live photo room of Rehe summer resort in the Qing Dynasty, there is a door with three rooms wide. Inside the door is the Yanbo Zhishuang hall, which is the first of the thirty-six scenic spots of the summer resort designated by the emperor of the Qing Dynasty. It was built in 1711 and restored in 1754. Yanbo Zhishuang hall is the emperor's bedroom. There is a throne in the middle of the hall, which is used by the empress when they appear in court. There is a small Buddha Hall in the West and a sitting room for the emperor in the East. On August 27, 1820, Emperor Renzong of the Qing Dynasty died here. In 1860, Emperor Wenzong of the Qing Dynasty led his concubines and ministers to escape from the fire of the British and French allied forces and fled to the summer resort. On July 17 of the second year, he died in the West warm Pavilion. Then, Empress Dowager Cixi of yehenara planned the Xinyou coup here and listened to the government behind the curtain after returning to Beijing. From then on, she held the supreme power of the Qing Dynasty for almost half a century.
