Heihuzhai, located 7 kilometers northeast of chishang town government, has an elevation of 859.2 meters. The mountain is a typical limestone mountain, surrounded by cliffs. Because the folk legend has the scorpion tiger to slip (the sound science name gecko) becomes the essence to harm the neighbor, therefore calls the Black Tiger Village.

Scenery

Heihuzhai, located 7 kilometers northeast of chishang town government, has an elevation of 859.2 meters. It is connected with youlouzhai in the northeast and lujiaoshan in the northwest, which is the boundary between Boshan and Zichuan. The mountain trend is east-west, belonging to qingshishan. There are three cliffs in this village. Only one slope in the Northwest can climb up the wall. You can enter the north gate along the slope to reach the top of Heihu village. The top of guxing village is the unique mountain shape of Heihu village. On the west side of the village, the stone house on the wall of the village is in ruins, which is a record of the war years.

history

Among the local people, there is a legend that there is a big black gecko (local people call it scorpion tiger) on the cliff of the mountain stronghold. After thousands of years of cultivation, it becomes essence and harms the people. One summer, the father and son, surnamed Li, from xiaonanyu village nearby, came back from the market in Lingbei. When they passed through the mountain, suddenly there was a strong wind, lightning and thunder, and the clear sky was suddenly dark and gloomy. The father and son were in a panic. As they were seeking shelter from the rain, they saw a pair of dragon claws falling from the sky. After a while, the wind was calm and the clouds were scattered, the sun was shining, but the father and son disappeared. In the early years of the Republic of China, a young woman in mengjiakuai went up the slope to dig vegetables. When she came to dongaokou, a huge shadow like a scorpion tiger came towards her. At this time, I suddenly saw a big hand shaking in front of the shadow. The shadow turned into a cloud of smoke and disappeared. After the woman was saved, a mountain temple was built at the mountain pass to thank the mountain god for saving her life. Since then, the people here will no longer see the black tiger spirit.

After 1940, Wu Huawen, the commander of the new fourth division of the puppet army, stationed his troops in the village and often went down the mountain to harass the people. At that time, the fifth squadron of the independent battalion of the Eighth Route Army sent a squad to wage guerrilla warfare with the fourth division of the puppet army. In 1942, the puppet fourth division surrendered to Japan, and we took the initiative to withdraw.

In the past decade, under the leadership of the local government, afforestation, conversion of farmland to forest, prohibition of grazing and other work have been carried out continuously on the mountain. There are lots of fruit trees on the hillside, in the valley and at the foot of the mountain. Cypress trees grow into forests, locust trees grow into dragons.
