Penglai hospital
Penglaiyuan, located in Xialv City, Tianqiao District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, near Jingyi Road, was built in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty.
Penglai temple is a Taoist activity place approved to be reopened in Jinan. Located in Xialv street, Tianqiao District, it was built in May 1924.
Brief introduction of Penglai hospital
The number of Taoists has grown to 20-30, which is one of the main activity places of Quanzhen dragon sect in Jinan. At its peak, it was divided into two courtyards, the north and the south, with three main halls and 12 rooms. The East Room of the South was luzu hall, and the North was Guansheng hall and Bodhisattva hall. In 1958, when the Taoist temples of the whole city were merged, they were regarded as the reserved Taoist temples. During the cultural revolution, the whole Taoist temple was destroyed. In 1986, it was approved to resume Taoist activities. At present, there are 1 people in Qiandao and 5 people in kundao. The Penglai hospital was rebuilt in 1990 and completed in 1993.
