Jianzi lane is located in the east by north of Zhonghuamen, Qinhuai District, Nanjing City, connecting dayoufang Lane in the west, dongqingqiao East Street in the East, parallel to Madao street.

In the early Ming Dynasty, it was the place where the weapons warehouse was located. There were many arrows in the warehouse, so it was called "Jianzi lane", and later it was wrongly called "Jianzi lane".
