"Renlongba glacier" is usually called "renlongba glacier". Located at the junction of ranwuxin, Basu County, Changdu City, Tibet, and Chayu County, Linzhi Prefecture, Tibet, "rilongba" is located at the end of the ice tongue with an altitude of 4560m.

It is located on the high mountain "rilongba" at the junction of ranwuxin, Basu County, Changdu City, Tibet and Chayu County, Linzhi Area. The tip of the glacier tongue is 4560m above sea level and several kilometers long, with towering snow mountains behind it. It is one of the rare modern mountain glaciers in the middle and low latitudes. Ranwu to Bomi is known as "the land of glaciers". There are many glaciers in this area, the largest of which are "laigu glacier", "midui glacier" and "renlongba glacier". Unlike the "laigu glacier" and "midui glacier", which have been developed as tourist attractions and are well-known outside, the "renlongba glacier" has not been developed up to now and still retains its original state. It is hidden in deep mountains and is rarely known to outsiders. In fact, the scale and magnificence of this glacier are by no means inferior to those two glaciers. It is said that the Chinese Academy of Sciences has carried out research in this area, looking for "ice core" (the deeper part of large ice, which is very rare). Through research, we can not only determine the age and formation process of glaciers, but also obtain the data of temperature and precipitation in corresponding historical years, as well as the content of carbon dioxide and other atmospheric chemical components in corresponding years, thus opening up a new way to restore the paleoclimate and paleoenvironment ）。

Different from the "laigu glacier", the "laigu glacier" can only be seen from a distance due to a big river blocking it, so it is extremely difficult to cross the river and get in close contact with the glacier; while the "renlongba glacier" can easily climb on the long tongue of ice and really enter the glacier.
