Zhanlu spring is located in the north side of the rockery in the South Gate of Baotu Spring Park, juxtaposed with Shiwan spring and Jiuquan spring. The spring pool is made of natural stone, about 4 meters long and 4 meters wide, with natural stone revetment. The pool is about 1.5 meters deep. The name of the spring is engraved on the stone wall on the north side of the rockery. According to records, the spring is clear and sweet, so it is named. The original spring has been buried. In 1997, Baotu Spring Park restored the three springs at the same time according to the historical location.

It was once listed as 72 Famous Springs in the Jin and Ming Dynasties.
