Weifang Jinquan temple is located at 428 Weizhou Road, Kuiwen District, Weifang City, Shandong Province. It is surrounded by Jinbao paradise, Oriental Paradise and other tourist attractions, with complete catering, accommodation, transportation and other facilities. Jinquan temple is located in Weifang Jinbao Buddhist Culture Park, adjacent to Jinbao treasure hall, Buddhist supplies wholesale market, vegetarian food and Bodhi Garden, with a construction area of 30000 square meters and a total investment of 360 million yuan.

brief introduction

Jinquan temple was built in the second year of Yongle (1404 A.D.) of Ming Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the 30th year of Qianlong (1775 A.D.) and destroyed in the 1950s after repeated wars. After the reform and opening up, with the approval of the provincial and municipal religious authorities at all levels, Jinbao Group invested in the restoration of Jinquan temple in 1991. The restoration of the ancient temple was supported by Zhao Puchu, the then president of the Chinese Buddhist Association. Zhao personally inscribed the name of the temple "Jinquan Temple" and presented the word "Buddha" as a gift.

Jinquan temple is surrounded by Jinbao paradise, Oriental Paradise and other tourist attractions, with complete catering, accommodation, transportation and other facilities. Jinquan temple is located in the Jinbao Buddhist Culture Park of Weifang, adjacent to the Jinbao Museum, the wholesale market of Buddhist products, the vegetarian diet and the Bodhi Garden. It covers a total area of 100000 square meters, with a construction area of 30000 square meters and a total investment of 360 million yuan. It has become the main place for Buddhist activities and believer exchanges in Weifang.

In 2008, with the approval of Shandong Provincial Bureau of religion, Jinquan temple was expanded and rebuilt. After three years of construction, Jinquan temple has more than 20 Temple communities, including Mountain Gate, Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall, Guanyin hall, sutra library, Chan hall, five hundred arhat hall, ten thousand Buddha Hall, Jade Buddha Pavilion, and God of wealth hall. Among them are ancient trees, green willows, small bridges, flowing water, and pond pavilions. Jinquan temple also has the world's only Sakyamuni Buddha with a top canopy and flying cloud pillars. The statue of the Buddha is solemn, towering and magnificent.

The ceremony of the completion of Weifang Jinquan temple and the opening ceremony of the whole hall Buddha statue was held on May 21, 2011.

Temple Cultural Relics

There are exhibition halls for calligraphy and painting, stone monuments and Buddhist cultural relics, as well as art identification room, reception room and calligraphy and painting creation room. Set art exhibition, painting and calligraphy antiques identification, art collection and exchange, painting and calligraphy creation and other functions in one. The Buddhist products wholesale market, with 50 boutique rooms and a wholesale Hall of more than 5000 square meters, mainly sells Buddha statues, Buddhist ornaments, folk auspicious series and folk crafts, is the Buddhist products distribution center of Weifang.

Land and Water Law Society

There is nothing more merciful than the Shui Lu Da Zhai Dharma Association, which has been the largest and most solemn Dharma Association in Chinese Buddhism for nearly two thousand years. In order to uphold the great wish of universal salvation, Weifang Jinquan temple is scheduled to hold the first land and water Dharma Assembly from May 15 to May 21, 2012 (April 25 to the first day of the fourth lunar month).
