The stele gallery is located in the east of Yueyang Tower, adjacent to the wax museum of Yueyang Tower in the north and the entrance of the park in the south. The corridor is about 5 meters wide and nearly 100 meters long. Red column edge tile, Feige Liudan, cornice teeth high peck, simple and elegant and beautiful dexterity. The stele corridor was built in May 1984. At that time, the corridor was only 30 meters long and there were only 64 steles. When visitors come here, they will inevitably sigh. In order to enrich the cultural connotation of the famous building, Yueyang Tower Management Office decided to rebuild the stele gallery. In the autumn of 1992, the work of collecting poems and books by famous scholars at home and abroad started rapidly. For a time, he went to the South and north to visit the staff of Yueyang Tower calligraphy. In less than two years, he obtained more than 180 excellent poems and collected more than 130 fine calligraphic works. After repeated deliberation by experts and scholars, he selected 71 calligraphic works and prepared to add stone carving.

The tablet on the corridor was written by Mr. Liu Bingsen, a famous contemporary calligrapher. A total of 139 new and old works were engraved in the gallery, including 24 memorial tablets and 115 calligraphy tablets. The stone tablet is made of pure, fine and bright Gongxian bluestone in Henan Province. The base of the stele is supplemented by Jinan blue and white granite, with fine workmanship and considerable value. Calligraphy works are a collection of genres such as Zhen, Cao, Li and Zhuan. The reconstruction of the whole stele corridor took three years and cost 800000 yuan.

Mao Zedong's poem "climbing Yueyang Tower" written by Du Fu, Yu Youren's stele "rebuilding Yueyang Tower", Zhu Yunming and Dong Qichang's calligraphy "Yueyang Tower" are the best of calligraphy. These works are either vigorous and majestic in style, or they are old and spicy in style, and their structure is extremely dangerous. Some of them are bold and unrestrained, ancient and powerful; others are fluent in writing, vigorous, sparsely paid and ethereal in composition, which really gives people rich historical knowledge and artistic enjoyment.
