Simadi

Simadi is one of the representative scenic spots of Huangyao ancient town. It is located in Longpan street of Huangyao and is the representative of Huangyao residence. "Simadi" is a Qing Dynasty building, which is a progressive old house along the terrain.

Architectural features

Along the path of the ancient town, you can see the very complete stone drum at the gate of simadi, which has been preserved together with the house. The whole house is very transparent, with three rooms wide and three rooms deep. The middle of the front seat is the foyer, and the two sides are the auricles. The center of the middle block is the patio, and the two sides are the wing rooms. The back seat is the main room, and there are partition fans and desk in the main hall. As soon as I entered the hall, the exquisite carving on the partition fan attracted people's attention. On the eaves of the front seat and the back seat, there are landscapes, flowers and birds, and some fairy tales. The architectural pattern of simadi is the epitome of other dwellings in Huangyao.
