Ningbo University Park Library

Ningbo University Park library is a unit directly under NingBo Education Bureau. It is also the second library of Ningbo, the children's Library of Ningbo, the red scarf Library of Ningbo and the digital library of Ningbo. Ningbo Yinzhou District Library is attached to it, and six of them are integrated into one. Ningbo University Park library was built and officially opened to the public on December 28, 2003. It covers an area of 58000 square meters, with a total construction area of 28600 square meters and a total investment of nearly 140 million yuan. It is one of the eight major cultural facilities in our city. Ningbo University Park library is a public welfare service organization that provides education, information, culture and leisure services for Ningbo citizens and teachers and students in the University Park, and provides reading activities, education and training for children in the city.

History Introduction

Ningbo Digital Library was officially put into operation on March 25, 2009. Ningbo children's library, founded on July 2, 2011, is located on the first floor of the library in the University Park. It is composed of four areas: Children's Department, children's Department, dream stage and children's science and technology park. The building area of the library is about 5000 square meters. There are nearly 100000 books, more than 200 periodicals and 16 digital reading computers in the library. Ningbo Red Scarf library was founded on May 30, 2012. It is located on the first floor of Ningbo University Park library. The red scarf library, which is "self-management and self-service" by the city's young pioneers, widely carries out "my red scarf library is built by me", "good books are shared" love book collection, young pioneers "famous lecture hall", "good books grow up with" classic chanting and reading Activities such as book soliciting and essay soliciting are aimed at the 490000 young pioneers in Ningbo, spreading the socialist core values, inheriting the characteristic culture of "book collection in ancient and modern times, and connecting Hong Kong with the world", and jointly promoting the construction of "cultural strong city" in Ningbo.

Due to the setting of children's reading area and children's activity center, some surrounding residents send their children to the library of Ningbo University Park before going to work and pick them up after work. This phenomenon is especially obvious in winter vacation and summer vacation.
