Tin Hau Temple in Pingyuan
Tin Hau Temple in Ping Yuen is located in Shui Shui Keng, Ping Che, Ta Kwu Ling, new territories. It was rebuilt in 1976.
Introduction and history
The temple of Empress Dowager in Pingyuan was built in 1756, the 21st year of Emperor Qianlong.
Architectural features
There are four characters in the temple. The plaque reads "dragon heaven support".
In the middle of the temple is Tian Hou Temple, on the right is Pingyuan office, and on the left is Shengping Sheyi temple. There is a bronze bell cast in the 21th year of Qianlong and a soundboard made in 1727 in the fifth year of Yongzheng.
