Langjia Bay

Langqia Bay, or langqia bay for short, is a bay in Hong Kong. It is located in the east suburb park of Sai Kung, New Territories, near the east dam of Wanyi reservoir. It is a famous camping site on the second section of MacLehose path. Langqiawan camp is one of the designated campsites of the Hong Kong agriculture, fisheries and Conservation Department.

Langqie Bay is surrounded by lonely mountain, biaojianjiao, changyanding and luopengjiao. Langqiezi is on the east side of the Bay, and fanzengzhou and South China Sea are on the south side. The beach is flat and wide with clear water and fine sand. Behind the woods beside the beach is the Christian mutual love fellowship Langjia training center.

Langqiawan won the fifth place in the "top ten scenic spots of Hong Kong" contest, which was held by the friends of Country Parks Association of Hong Kong, the Lions International Hong Kong Macau 303 district and the agriculture, fisheries and Conservation Department.

Langjia beach in Sai Kung is a good place for city people to put aside all worries and wash their mind. The sea breeze is light and refreshing. On the way to Langjia beach, the scenery is beautiful, and the scenery of the whole Wanyi reservoir is eye-catching.

Transportation guide

Take bus No. 94 from Sai Kung on weekdays, 96r from Diamond Hill MTR station and 289r from Sha Tin railway station on holidays to the bus terminus at Pak Tam Chung. Starting from beitanyong, you can walk along the first section of Maijing Road, dawangzi road to Wanyi road in Sai Kung. After passing Xiba, you can reach Dongba of Wanyi reservoir at the end of the road. Then you can walk along the mountain path to langqiawan. On the return journey, you can turn back to beitanchung and take a bus back to the city. The whole journey takes about five to six hours.
