Ganqu Temple
Ganqu temple is located in Ganqu village, Ganqu Town, with convenient transportation. It is located in the county seat, 65 km away from Lhasa. In 1100 AD, it was founded by yixijiunai of the detailed Tang Dynasty, belonging to the Gelug school.
Introduction to scenic spots
The temple is mainly for Yixi jiunaifo, and the representative living Buddha is Awang Danzeng. In the heyday of history, there were 300 monks. At present, there are 70 monks, covering an area of 1400 square meters and 128 cultural relics. In 1985, it was restored and opened to the public with the approval of the county people's government. In history, there are three living Buddhas in the temple, and the number of pilgrims to the temple reaches 20000-30000 at the God skipping activities held on November 28 and 29 of the Tibetan calendar every year.
