The marine ginkgo forest is located in Haiyang Township, Lingchuan County, Guilin. Datongmu village in the village is the hometown of Hunan and Guangxi. Under the osmanthus tree at Tangbian of the village entrance, there is a stone tied to the horse erected by Tang Hengqi, a student of the Imperial College in the 13th year of Tongzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty. Behind the tree is a western style gate building built in the Republic of China, and the private school of that year is still there. Datongmu Bay:

There are 48 households and 210 people in datongmuwan village. The village is built on the mountain with a long history and elegant folk customs. During the Qing Dynasty, Tang Hengqi, a villager with outstanding talent and excellent character and learning, was awarded the Imperial College Student and Gongsheng by the Qing government in Tongzhi and Guangxu years, respectively, and there are four stone pillars with inscriptions on them. This also set off a great tongmuwan village of study. In order to promote the style of study and encourage the backward, during the period of the Republic of China, the villagers raised funds to build the "Zhuangyuan building", which was used as a private school in the village for the children to read. It is still well preserved. There are also five well preserved ancient dwellings in the village. The biggest highlight is that there are "peace tanks" for water storage and fire prevention in the courtyard. The shape is unique and amazing. An ancient well at the mouth of the village is also one of the better preserved historic sites. It was built in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty, more than 200 years ago. Due to long-term use, 55 deep rope marks have been imprinted on the well head, which is amazing.

Xiaotongmu Bay:

Xiaotongmuwan is close to the location of Haiyang township government. It is not as famous as datongmuwan, which is not separated by a hill. The transportation is not as convenient as datongmuwan. There are no very big, very old and beautiful trees in the village, but the ginkgo trees are dense, so it's very good to shoot larger scenes. As a result, there are few tourists. Most of them come to xiaotongmu bay for photography enthusiasts and hikers. Guilin local people usually visit datongmuwan, but seldom come to xiaotongmuwan. There are 384 ginkgo trees in fruit age in xiaotongmuwan. Each large ginkgo tree can harvest about 300 Jin of Ginkgo every year, and each small ginkgo tree can harvest about 100 Jin of Ginkgo every year. There are 22 households with 160 people in the village, each with about 2.5 trees. Each jin of Ginkgo can be sold for about 6 yuan.

Ginkgo King:

It is said that the "king of Ginkgo" tree in datongmuwan village of Haiyang township is more than 1000 years old, which is the largest existing ginkgo tree in Haiyang township. The diameter of the trunk is 1.6 meters and the height is about 50 meters. It takes six adults to embrace. Male flowers bloom in spring, which can pollinate the mother trees of Ginkgo biloba within 5 kilometers. It was late autumn, full of yellow leaves, which attracted many tourists.

Ancient dwellings:

One of the most well preserved and the largest one is Tang Hengqi's ancestral house, which was built in the late Qianlong period. It has three entrances and three patios. The first one is the main entrance hall, and the middle one is the patio. There are wing rooms on both sides of the patio. The inside one is the main hall, and there are ear rooms on both sides Most of the window lattice of the main room and the ear room are hollowed out and carved with various traditional paintings of flowers, plants, insects and fish. The carving is lively and the knife work is exquisite.

Gujing:

This ancient well was built in the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in the first year of Tongzhi. Originally, this well was the only drinking water source in the village, so it was rebuilt with four walls and wooden doors. There is water in the ancient well all the year round. Even in case of heavy rain and flood, the water in the well always keeps clear. For two hundred years, people used ropes to lift water, leaving 55 deep rope marks on the stones at the mouth of the well.

Champion building:

Located in the middle of the village, the gate building is a typical architectural style of the early Republic of China. It has two floors, brick and wood structure. It used to be a private school in the village, so it is also called "Zhuangyuan building". In front of the main gate building, there is a small flat ground with pebbles inlaid with eight trigrams, big carp and other patterns in the center. Under the ancient osmanthus tree and ancient ginkgo tree in the front of the flat ground, there are two pairs of imperial examination stone squares carved with unicorn, bat, lotus and Phoenix. From the words on the stone, we know that the two pairs of imperial examination stone squares were set up by Tang Hengqi in Xianfeng years of the village.

Shuanmashi:

In the 13th year of Tongzhi reign in the Qing Dynasty, Tang Hengqi, a student of the Imperial College of the Imperial College of Chinese Academy of Sciences, set up eight stone blocks to tie horses. If you don't pay attention to them, you will only see four stone blocks erected here, while the other four stone blocks are lying next to big trees, forming a word of mouth! During the Qing Dynasty, Tang Hengqi, a villager with outstanding talent and excellent character and learning, was awarded the Imperial College Student and Gongsheng by the Qing government in Tongzhi and Guangxu years, and four stone pillars were set up to engrave inscriptions.

Large water tank:

In the middle of the ancient people in this village, there are four big stone water tanks, all of which are made up of five large stone slabs, commonly known as "Taiping tanks", whose function is to store water and prevent fire. The largest tank is 2.72 meters long, 1.68 meters wide and 1.3 meters high, and can hold about 100 loads of water. Banyan trees of the same age are planted in each VAT, which is a major feature.

Ancient temple:

Mingxin temple and Lingze temple were built at the end of Song Dynasty. Wooden brick and tile structure, there are main hall, four heavenly king hall, Lingze hall, monk hall, for two into the system, there are 25 Buddha. In 1994, it was a provincial cultural relic protection unit. Mingxin temple holds three Buddhist activities every year, commonly known as "temple fair". There are more than 10000 pilgrims, and there are an endless stream of people who come here to burn incense and worship Buddha.

Transportation Strategy: Guilin is about 40 kilometers from Dawu to Haiyang township. You can take shuttle bus, self driving or tourist charter bus to the destination. There are few shuttle buses to Haiyang township. They only drive to the town, about 1-1.5 hours. Take No.16 bus at the gate of the railway station, or take No.27, no.6, No.9, No.98 bus at the opposite platform of the railway station to sanlidian square (the bus from Dawu class to xiaopingle, or the bus to Haiyang town). Get off at sanlidian square and go a little further. There will be some buses waiting for customers there. One of them is to the ocean. The ticket price is about 10 yuan
