Xinlian village is located in the west of Si'an Town, Changxing County, 2 kilometers away from the center of the town, east of zhongsi'an street, west of Xianshan lake, 1.5 kilometers away from Xianshan Xiansheng temple, known as "little Jiuhua Mountain", and north of erjieling township.

Xinlian village has convenient transportation. The old 318 National Road runs through the village, and the 12 provincial roads are connected with the main roads of the village. The village is jade belt, distributed on both sides of shangsi'an street.

The village has a population of 1758, 503 households, 9 villager groups and 3 natural villages, covering an area of 1.74 square kilometers. It has 1598 mu of cultivated land, including 61 mu of dry land and 250 mu of ponds. It is a typical "village of fish and rice" in Northern Zhejiang plain.
