Yan Siqiao

Yansi bridge is located in Anting old street, Anting Town, Jiading District, Shanghai. It spans antingjing with single arch and connects Yanjing and Sijing in the north, so it is called Yansi bridge.

It was built in 1374 in the seventh year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty, built in 1783 in the 48th year of Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, and rebuilt in 1826 in the sixth year of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty. There is a couplet on the bridge: "the cross river is divided into two counties, and there are people from all over the city.". The original stone deck was rebuilt into a plane bridge after liberation, with a span of about 7.4 meters and a width of about 6.5 meters.

There is a pomegranate tree, named Hua pomegranate, growing between the stones in the east of qiaokong. It has been more than 100 years old, with flat roots and 25 cm thick. Every year, flowers bloom in summer and fruits are plentiful in autumn. In 1988, it was named "Shanghai famous tree and ancient tree" by Shanghai municipal government.
