Buddha cave pagoda

Buddha cave pagoda is located 4km away from Bailixia scenic spot on Yesanpo. It is the peak in the middle of Dadong mountain in pengtou. It belongs to pengtou village in the southwest and zishikou and jiejiekou village in the northeast. It is 1027m above sea level. The peak looks up from a distance and is shaped like a pagoda, so it is called Buddha cave pagoda.

Buddha cave pagoda is a collection of secluded, dangerous, beautiful and strong. It can be used as one of Yesanpo scenic spots and has high development value. Buddha cave pagoda is simple and quiet. At the top of the mountain is a large platform with an area of about 200 mu. In the middle of the platform, there was a Niangniang Temple, which was built in the Ming Dynasty. The eunuch Wang Zhong of the Ming Dynasty once inscribed it (with inscriptions). There used to be a grand palace here. In front of the temple, there are 18 clay sculptured Luohan caves. During the cultural revolution, temples and statues were destroyed, and the remains of the North Hall and temple wall still exist. On the 14th of the first month of each year, a large number of villagers come to the mountain from all directions to burn incense and worship gods for protection.

Long before the Liao and Jin Dynasties, there were large-scale temple buildings on the peak. Until the early years of the Republic of China, after many renovations, the incense fire was very prosperous, and it was destroyed during the war.

Main attractions

At the foot of fodongta mountain, there is yugudong spring, which is listed as one of the "eight strange springs" in Hebei Province. The strange thing is that before and after the lunar Valley Rain Festival every year, the spring has to spray fish to the outside, which can reach more than 2000 kilograms. Therefore, yugudong spring is also listed as a world wonder. The Yugu cave not far away is a natural karst cave. In the cave, there are stalactites similar to stone man and stone horse, and stone mantle statues of various kinds. The stalactites are well-developed, lifelike and immersive, which makes people feel mysterious and unpredictable.
