Donghu Road
Donghu road is a street in Xuhui District, Shanghai, China. It runs from southeast to northwest, from Changle Road in the northwest to Huaihai middle road in the southeast. It is 474 meters long and 15 to 20 meters wide. It is one of the 64 streets that will never be widened.
Donghu Road, formerly known as route Doumer, was built by the French concession in Shanghai in 1902, and got its name from the French governor in Vietnam.
Donghu road is traditionally a famous residential area in Shanghai. The 17th used to be the Belgian consulate, while the 70th used to be Du Yuesheng residence (now Donghu Hotel).
