As of July 2015, some tourist experience highlights of "Mickey Street" officially announced by Shanghai Disneyland Resort include: big bell tower, m Street Shopping Gallery, Mickey's good friends delicious market, Xiaomi chef baking shop and sweetheart candy.

1. Bell tower

There is a clock tower at the entrance of Shanghai Disneyland, which is inspired by the classic Mickey watch design. The huge layout represents the Chinese and English names of the park, and is full of Chinese design elements and colors.

2. M Street Shopping Gallery

Located on Mickey street, the "m Street Shopping Gallery" will provide visitors with the richest choice of gifts and souvenirs in the theme park, including a series of selected clothing, accessories, gifts, home accessories and jewelry. For example, this classic Mickey ear cap embroidered with Chinese "Mickey" is one of the Disney products specially designed for Chinese tourists.

The unique exterior design of the shopping mall aims to pay homage to the most famous Disney Stars, presenting the virtues they represent in the form of mosaic murals: Mickey (Hospitality), Minnie and Figaro (love), goofy (optimism), Donald Duck (erudition), Daisy (kindness), Pluto and Feifei (generosity), and Kiki and titty (friendship). Even the cash register has a theme - Scotch Mack's first bank.

3. Mickey's good friend delicious Market

"Mickey's good friends delicious market" is a counter order restaurant. While enjoying Chinese and Western food, visitors can also enjoy the beautiful scenery of the nearby gardens, "Fantasia carousel" and "Fantasy Fairy Tale Castle". Visitors can choose from four theme restaurants - "Mickey's kitchen", "Tony's Restaurant", "Daisy's Cafe" and "three knights" to have dinner together with their relatives and friends.

The design of "Mickey's good friends delicious market" is like an open-air market with four open kitchens. The murals in it fully show the pastoral tradition of "Mickey Street", on which Mickey and his friends sow, harvest and share the happy time together. The design of the tableware and dining area of "Mickey's good friend delicious market" also adds magical story telling.

4. Xiaomi chef bakery

"Xiaomi chef bakery" is a French Bakery based on the role of Xiaomi in "food story". It provides all kinds of bread, cakes and muffins, as well as fresh desserts made in the kitchen of the restaurant. Wooden shutters, flower boxes, open-air seats and decorative paintings inspired by French cafes make the bakery unique. The small brackets and ladders on the wall make one wonder that Xiaomi, who loves cooking in "food story", may be preparing special food in the kitchen.

5. Sweetheart candy

"Sweetheart candy" represents Minnie's childhood home. The candy store, designed in Queen Anne's style, celebrates Disney's first couple, Mickey and Minnie. Visitors will see murals and sweet scenes telling the love story of the couple in the store. The shop is full of flowers, love, and design elements inspired by Minnie's classic red and white polka dot skirt, where visitors can find handmade candy inspired by popular Disney friends.

Global launch highlights

1. Unique entrance welcome Avenue: Mickey Avenue, the home of Mickey and his friends, will be used as the welcome avenue for the first time in the World Disneyland.

2. Pay homage to the original Mickey for the first time: "steamboat Mickey fountain" will make its debut in Shanghai Disneyland. This is a tribute to the animation created by Walt Disney in 1928, which introduces Mickey to the world for the first time.

"Steamboat Mickey fountain" uses a more modern Mickey shape than the original animation of Walter's early, and gives it a fashionable style. Located at the entrance of the park, the fountain guides visitors to "Mickey Street".
