Tianze temple was built before the Song Dynasty. It was originally a temple for worshiping general Lu Tai (surnamed sun, name Xianzhong, Qian Tang people) in the Five Dynasties of Wu and Yue. During the reign of emperor Jiaxi of the Southern Song Dynasty (1237-1240), Zhao Yuyao, the magistrate of Lin'an, prayed for the rain to come true, granted the title of marquis Tianze and granted the temple "Fuying". During the Wanli period (1573-1620) of the Ming Dynasty, Zhang Zhenzhi, the prefect, prayed for rain and rebuilt the new temple. The original Temple Tianze well, praying platform and gexianweng qiusong landscape. The restored Tianze building retains the traces of the rain praying culture of the original Tianze temple, and is also a special garden of Gardenia. Visitors can not only understand the customs and culture of praying for rain in ancient times, but also have a rest and enjoy the flowers.

The first couplet: heaven sends silver decoration to make sweet rain

Second couplet: zezhanhuangtu, runjiahe

It also means praying for rain.
