Shaanxi Coin Museum opened in August 2012.

The exhibition hall covers an area of 890 square meters, with a total of 2626 coins and related items on display, including 1835 coins and coin making crafts, 793 banknotes or tickets. From pre Qin shellfish coins to modern RMB, it can basically reflect the development track of coins in each historical period.

From pre Qin shellfish coins to modern RMB, it can basically reflect the development track of coins in each historical period. Among the coins and related items on display in Shaanxi Coin Museum, the ancient coins, such as jiyinhuan coin, Wenxin coin, Chang'an coin, jincuodao coin, Wuzi Dao coin, zhuangquan forty coin, Chunhua coin, wuzhu copper model, Liuquan Shibu pottery model, Qinquan coin and Hanquan coin, as well as modern paper coin, are the treasures of the museum.

Professional platform

Shaanxi is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization and the political, economic and cultural center of 13 dynasties in Chinese history. In history, Qin banliang, Han wuzhu and Kaiyuan Tongbao were all born here, which all affected the development of Chinese coins. Shaanxi coin museum will build a research, exchange and learning platform for financial workers, especially coin research and collection lovers, and become a professional museum with strong regional characteristics and rich connotation.
