The snake ecological museum is located near the friendship tower of taiyanggou in Lushun. The museum started construction on May 12, 2000 with an investment of 23.5 million yuan and a construction area of 5000 square meters.

The indoor exhibition, with a return to nature style, is divided into eight exhibition areas: crocodile, turtle, various snakes and specimens. There are all kinds of snakes in Thailand, Australia and Africa. There are also tortoises, water turtles, sea turtles, alligators and giant salamanders in Kazakhstan. Dalian Lushun snake ecological museum ranks first in Asia in terms of variety, quantity and scale of snakes.
