At that time, the house number of Rulu was No. 3 at the foot of Geling mountain. Rulu covers an area of 1.605 mu. In 1941, on the basis of the original three dilapidated houses, the owner rebuilt it into a three Bay and three deep Chinese style bungalow villa, with a total of six rooms. There is also a pavilion and a garage. The villa is close to the mountain, facing the lake and lying in the forest. From Beishan Road to Lu, you have to go through a large forest, on a platform, and walk dozens of steps. Then you can go up the nine steps of bluestone steps to knock on the door. On the lintel of Shikumen, the word "Rulu" is engraved from right to left. The font is beautiful, which is inscribed by Pan Kang. Rulu's architectural designer is Gu Mengliang, who takes advantage of the mountain and skillfully arranges the house garden, which reflects the designer's ingenuity, and also leaves a unique style and distinctive mountain villa for today's Beishan Road, which is rare and rare.
