Former residence of Guo Baiyin

Guo Baiyin's former residence is located in the north of the east section of Huangxiang in Fuzhou City, commonly known as wuzidengke residence. Built in the late Ming Dynasty, it covers an area of more than 2000 square meters. Guo boyin is the third son of Guo Jie. Guo jiesan's five sons, Guo Baixin, Guo Baiyin, Guo Baiwei, Guo bocang, and Guo Boxiang, were all registered as the residence of Wu Zi Dengke.

In 1991, the municipal government put up a list for protection. The former residence was officially opened to the public on January 1, 2011. In February 2012, a plaque of "Wu Zi Deng Ke" was hung on the front door of Guo Baiyin's former residence. The inscription on the plaque of "Wu Zi Deng Ke" imitates the inscription of emperor Xianfeng, reflecting the Guo family culture and imperial examination family identity.

The main building has three entrances in front of and behind, facing south from the north, surrounded by walls on all sides, wooden frame with bucket and double slope top. There are six front doors with horse head walls on both sides and five rooms on the front. There is an instrument hall at the entrance, with gatehouses and sedan cars on both sides. There is a patio and an ambulatory at the entrance. The first entrance hall is five rooms wide and seven columns deep. The front porch is spacious and the base of blue stone pillars is simple and magnificent. Two into the face of five wide, into the depth of five columns. Three into five rows of double-layer study. Outside the east wall is a flower hall, with three rows of halls. Sitting in the north and south, there are rockeries, fish ponds, flower pavilions and big trees in the courtyard.
