The Lugouqiao historical materials exhibition hall is located in the Lugouqiao cultural relics storage center, Fengtai District, Beijing. Lugou bridge was built in the 29th year of jindading (1189). Because of its magnificent engineering, exquisite art and civilization, Marco Polo, an Italian in Yuan Dynasty, described it, so it is called Marco Polo Bridge in the West. Materials and objects related to Lugou Bridge and Wanping City are displayed here.

The historical materials exhibition hall of Lugou bridge is located on the Bank of Lugou bridge. It is a special museum with the history of Lugou Bridge as the theme and comprehensively reflects the history, architectural structure and carving art of Lugou bridge. It was completed on July 7, 1981 and officially opened to the public. The exhibition room mainly includes "Lugou Bridge historical materials exhibition", which shows the history of Lugou Bridge, so that people can better understand Lugou bridge.

Lugou bridge was built in the 29th year of Jin Dading (AD 1189). In March 1961, the State Council announced that Lugou bridge is a key cultural relics protection unit in China.

The first part introduces the historical evolution and geographical location of Lugouqiao and Wanping City; the architectural structure and exquisite carving art of Lugouqiao; the Lugouqiao described by ancient painters. The second part introduces some historical materials of the Anti Japanese war after the September 18th Incident in 1931. The beautiful Lugou bridge has become a patriotic education base for publicizing revolutionary tradition and excellent cultural heritage of the motherland.
